In 1948 a time of achieved independence from British Raj & the nation has been partition into two country, India &Pakistan. 
Lt. KM Cariappa is the first Commander-of-Chief of the Indian Army. On 15 January 1949, General Sir Francis Butcher the last British Commander-in-Chief of India. Army has its own motive,"Service Before Self", Indian Army is the world's biggest volunteer Army. They have 12 lakh active personnel on its rolls.

India has a lost their soldiers lives in the operation against terrorist in Jammu & Kashmir. Major Dahiya was the son of his parents was commissioned in 2009. He is gallantry award winner & has been part of several very important operations."He left his wife forever on a day when people across the country were celebrating love- the Valentine’s Day. On this day, a Major’s wife had to say good-bye to her love forever. On Feb 17th, if alive, Major Dahiya would have celebrated his third wedding anniversary. To surprise his wife on their anniversary he had pre-booked a card, a cake and a bouquet for her, which as per ill fate reached her post the news of her husband’s death."
